The practice of art isn’t to make a living. It’s to make your soul grow.

So Stylistic hit me up today and put me on to some amazing female talent in the UK.  Allow me to share the art of Nikki Farquharson.  She takes mixed media to another level.  Peep her illustrations of coloured pens and photos.  She calls them Mixed Media Girls http://www.nikkifarquharson.com

The Secret History of World War 3

The Secret History of World War 3 tells the remarkable story of an event that could inevitably happy in present time.  People are becoming more and more absorbed with themselves and meaningless subjects that should not be of concern.  These trivial obsessions eventually completely consume lives.

Oblivion is one of the greatest downfalls of today’s society.  With websites such as Facebook, the device becomes addictive.  Today, majority of the masses love to be caught up, whether it be what their friend from 1st grade did the previous night or how intoxicate a co-worker was last weekend, the want to know everything exists.  In the case of The Secret History of World War 3, society became obsessed with the condition of President Reagan.  The actual event of the War was lost because the civilization became focused on what they felt was important, not what actually was.  The story was told in such a devastatingly tragic manner, mostly because the reader was able to completely understand how unfortunately the the circumstance was.

When people become obsess over reality TV shows, they are losing reality and becoming sucked into this imaginary place.  In contrast to the genres title, reality TV is anything but reality.  These scripted shows depict what the creator believes will interest the community; they brainwash and cause the community to believe the delusive situation is what their lives should actually be like.  When society begins behaving similarly to the fictional show, reality in general is lost until the point that not one person knows what reality actually is.

This event occurred in The Secret History of World War 3 particularly because the society was infatuated with having constant knowledge of Reagan’s health, consuming their lives so much so that the population was completely incapable of understanding anything beyond that.
